Introduction

Saicere Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Network Notes mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the App. Our Terms of Service govern your use of the App.

Age Restriction

Network Notes is intended for users aged 18 and older.

By using this App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Data Security

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
• Encryption at Rest: Stored data is encrypted at rest by our cloud infrastructure provider.
• Device Security: Auth session credentials on your device are stored using the iOS Keychain.
• Access Controls: Row Level Security ensures you can only access your own data. No other user can view your memories.

The security of your data is important to us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide Core Services: Store and organize your memories, contacts, and reminders
• Enable AI Features: Process your notes using AI to extract insights and answer questions
• Transcribe Voice Dictation: Convert dictated speech to text using speech-to-text technology
• Manage Subscriptions: Verify and manage your subscription status through Apple and our subscription management provider

Voice Dictation and Transcription

The App lets you dictate notes using your device's microphone. When you dictate:

1. Short audio of what you speak is securely transmitted to our servers
2. Audio is processed by a third-party speech-to-text provider for transcription
3. We do not store the audio file in our database
4. Only the resulting text is stored with your memory

Only the transcribed text becomes part of your stored memories. The App does not provide call recording and is not intended to capture other people's voices; you are responsible for dictating only content you are permitted to record and store.

AI Processing and Data Usage

Network Notes uses artificial intelligence to extract key information, generate summaries, and answer questions about your contacts.

Important Disclosures:

• Your memory text is processed by third-party AI providers via their APIs (currently including Anthropic and OpenAI)
• AI processing occurs on secure servers / provider APIs, not on your device
• We share your content with AI providers only as needed to operate the App
• Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies

Analytics

We do not use separate third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising tools. Apple may collect opt-in App Analytics if you enable analytics sharing in iOS settings. Apple and our subscription management provider process purchase and entitlement information to manage billing. Our cloud infrastructure may produce operational logs needed to run and secure the App. We do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising purposes, and we do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies in the App.

Payments

Network Notes offers paid subscriptions processed through the Apple App Store. We do not collect, store, or process your payment card details. All payment information is provided directly to Apple and handled in accordance with Apple's privacy policy and terms.

We use a subscription management provider that receives information about your purchases and entitlements from Apple but does not receive your payment card details. That provider's use of your information is governed by its privacy policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account Information: Email address and display name from Google or Apple Sign-In
• User Content: Memories, notes, contacts, and reminders you create
• Voice Dictation: Short audio of notes you dictate, transmitted for transcription only. We do not store dictation audio in our database
• Timezone: Your device timezone identifier may be sent with note processing so reminders and dates can be interpreted correctly

Information Collected Automatically

• Account user ID used to authenticate and sync your data
• Device identifiers used by our subscription management provider to manage entitlements
• Device and usage information may be collected by Apple App Store Connect / App Analytics if you have opted in through your device settings
• Subscription and purchase-related information is processed by Apple and our subscription management provider to manage billing and entitlements
• On-device cache: Limited copies of recent contacts and memories may be stored temporarily on your device to improve performance, and are cleared on a short TTL

Data Retention

• Account Information: Retained until you delete your account
• Memories and Contacts: Retained until you delete them or your account
• Voice Dictation Audio: Not stored in our database; transcription is performed by our speech-to-text provider

Residual copies of deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before being permanently removed. We may also retain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Your Rights and Choices

Access & Delete Your Data

• View all memories, contacts, and reminders through the App
• Delete individual items through the App
• Delete your entire account and all associated data from Profile in the App

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data in the App from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Apple subscriptions are managed separately through Apple and are not cancelled by deleting your account.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

When We Share Information

• Service Providers: We share information with cloud infrastructure, AI and speech-to-text, authentication (Apple and Google), and subscription management providers to operate the App. They process data on our behalf subject to their terms and privacy policies.
• Legal and Law Enforcement: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid request by a public authority.
• Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With Your Consent or to Protect Rights: We may share information with your consent, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Saicere Labs, our users, or others.

Information About Others

Network Notes helps you record notes about people you interact with, so your content may include information about others. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store that information. If someone asks us about information stored in your account, we will direct them to you.

California Privacy Rights

California residents can access and delete their information in the App (including Profile → Delete Account). We do not sell your personal information. Contact admin@saicerelabs.com with privacy requests.

International Users

Your information may be processed in the United States by us and our service providers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by posting the new policy in the App and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Changes become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.
